RING SAW

Toolgal diamond ring blades are built for deep cutting of concrete and reinforced concrete with hydraulic and gas ring saws. A ring saw drives the blade from its outer rim, so the blade cuts much deeper than a conventional blade of the same diameter – ideal for openings in walls and slabs, door and window cut-outs and work close to walls and corners.

Matched to your ring saw

Each ring saw brand uses its own blade core and drive system, so the blade must match the machine. Choose your machine first, then the diameter and segment width:

• Husqvarna compatible – 14" (365 mm), 16" (415 mm) and 17" (430 mm), plus a 14" pre-cut blade
• WEKA compatible – 16" (400 mm)
• AGP / HYCON compatible – 16" (400 mm)

Drive wheel included

Every blade is supplied with the drive wheel that fits your machine. The drive wheel wears together with the blade, so you always start a new blade with a new wheel.

Pre-cut blade

The 14" pre-cut blade has a wider .236" segment. Use it to open the first cut, then continue with the standard ring blade – this protects the ring blade and extends its life.

Choosing the segment width

• .157" – narrower kerf, faster cutting and lower power demand.
• .169" – wider kerf for heavy reinforced concrete and longer blade life.

Operating tips

• Wet cutting only. Always run the ring saw with full water flow to cool the blade and flush the slurry.
• Check the rotation arrow and mount the blade and drive wheel as the machine manufacturer specifies.
• Never exceed the maximum speed of the machine or the blade. Use proper PPE and keep the guard in place.
